We are delighted to host the second edition of our Conference for Teachers in Utrecht on Wednesday 28 March 2018.

The conference is ideal for English language teachers preparing students for Cambridge English qualifications and teachers who are interested in introducing the exams into their school.

The conference will be a day of interactive workshops and discussions with a strong focus on Cambridge English examinations. It will be your chance to meet the exam experts, improve your English teaching skills and hear how other schools prepare for these examinations. 

Our new exams member scheme

The day will celebrate the launch of our new exams member scheme Addvantage. You will gain a preview of the benefits we will be offering your students, teachers and schools through Addvantage coming in September 2018. 

Conference programme 

The conference registration will begin at 10.15 with complimentary tea and coffee. The programme will begin at 10.45 with our opening plenary session on our new exams member scheme Addvantage.

During the conference, you will attend two interactive workshops, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The interactive workshop topics are as follows:

  • Exploring the writing section of the Cambridge English C1 Advanced exam by Elena Louicellier from Cambridge Assessment English
  • Motivating teenagers by Joanna Gore from the British Council
  • Helping students with Cambridge English C1 Advanced speaking exam by Louisa Dunne from the British Council
  • Web of words: Developling vocabulary strategies for B2 and beyond by Sarah Ellis from Cambridge Assessment English

Our closing plenary session will be an interactive panel discussion on your experiences and teaching tips on the Cambridge Assessment English exams. We will invite the audience to ask questions to the panel and participate in the discussion

Free registration is now full. Due to full capacity, a waiting list is now in place.

Please contact us via email in the case of cancellation of your registration or to request to be put on our waiting list.

Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask for no more than two English teachers per school or institution to register.

Registration and workshop preferences were on a first come first served basis.
